belt size

ok so i am about to put the truck in the shop tomorrow to get my pulleys installed but i dont know if i have the right size belt.Herb101 sent me one with the #5 crank pulley but i am also adding a 2.8 upper so can i get away with just a 100mm idler kit because i believe the belt is for a #5 lower and stock upper so i thought there wouldnt be that much slack. any info will be greatly appreciated.

Jason, what size is the one the sent you, it is usually the the last 3 digits on the belt...

680= 68"
695= 68.5"

and so on... they probably gave you a 68" belt and I don't think will work with the idler even with the smaller pulley, but there is a carquest right around the corner from Haywoods so you should be alright...
