I know this isn't a drag car BUT... I Am finding it or was finding it very hard to launch the car! Was having flash backs to my Boss 302 https://youtu.be/RpYJRSus2ns Laguna seca days https://youtu.be/6NKajBsXg1Y minus the SOLID AXLE! I was invited to the AMERICAN MUSCLE SHOW from VMP & K&N over the summer as a display vehicle and also got to make a few 1/4 miles passes! Mid 12's wasn't cutting it for me anymore. Battling tire spin on the stock tires set at 25 psi I was finding myself cutting 2.2x 60 ft times and running 12.40's-12.60's at 117-118. The car has email tune from Justin at VMP Using the HP Tuners N-gauge! 93 octane tune and ghost cam tune. I am running the Lethal Cat Delete pipes, and a K&N filter replacement. At my home track after much practice I found by slipping the clutch over 4500rpm was the sweet spot. Given track prep the car needs more RPM! So I finally started cutting better 60ft times in the 1.96-2.09's. Running much more consistent low 12's! Getting more aggressive with the launch I finally ran a 11.94 and backed it up a 11.96 at 120.xx. At a private rental the same week I gave the car a aggressive launch over 5200RPM and ripped off a 1.78 60ft!! trying not to clip the rev limiter I eagerly shifted the car down the track to a 11.68 @121.06!!! Does anyone know what the fastest ET TO DATE IS? No drag radials yet! Any suggestions on a 19' or swap to a 18' drag radial I'm thinking a set of Mickeys on the stock 19's. What are you Guys running for a tire? Also a wheel? I am assuming the drag radials will help me cut 1.6-1.8 60fts More often & I'm sure it will also prematurely have me clutch shopping! Please post your ET's and mod/tire combo. I'm sorry if this has been posted before. Just wanted to post my experience. https://youtu.be/gnBDjqQ2t9Q

Good to see someone dragging a GT350. I ran my Boss in 100% trim ran 12.18 @114 on stock tires with heavy 1-2 wheels spin on my 1st track outing. i cut a 1.88 on my second ever pass. On DR I went 11.82 at 116 with a 1.72... This was in about 25 total passes on the car. First gear in the Boss is short so it makes it a bit easier to launch. I was at the track running my SS and there was GT350 running mid 12s at 116 every pass. I talked to the owner and he was very frustrated with his times. He couldn't get the launch right. I think the 350 has a taller 1st gear and a peakier power band.... Makes sense it would be tough to launch.

Anything in the 11's is impressive. Well done. It's great to see someone out there running these cars that knows how to drive them.
