Best Car Shampoo and Convertible Cleaner??

So, I tried washing the vert with Meguires gold class shampoo and conditioner and was a little irritated on how it was so watery when applied. I put about 1/2 cup (soap) to 2 gallons of water and still didn't foam up for shit on the car. ANyone have this same problem, thinking about trying another brand? Any recommendations? Also, any ideas on what I should use on the convertible top, I used the ICE brand car wash and seemed to have faded my top a bit. Any help would be grand! Thanks..

Meg's GC can have a little trouble doing well if you have hard water.

I believe the dilution on it is 1oz/gallon.

If you want to stay OTC on your wash soap; try the Meg's NXT, it works really well with soft and hard water.

As far as your top goes; Woolite for Darks or RaggTop would be your best choices.

Restore water-repellency and UV protection to fabric convertible tops with these products!
