best hand wax for flat paint

Have a red 07 GT500 and want to know what is the best wax for a flat paint.

I do not want to do the porter cable route and want no white residue to dust off.

car was clayed a few months ago and used mazerna wax, just dont want another 8 hour waxing session!

When you say 'flat' what exactly do you mean? Like matte/satin paint or just a dull factory paint job.

non metalic clear coat factory red on a GT500 (in good condition).

I am used to the silver metalic and you do not see as many flaws and it is really easy to wax.

Its not flat its just not metallic. Any clear coat safe wax (which is just about everything on the market now a days) is safe for it. You said you dont want to use the portacable d/a because you dont want to spend 8 hours ? You should be spending a lot less time with the d/a then by hand. The Portacable comes ut a lot more even in my opinion also.
