Hey guys,

I am installing a few more gauges and was curious as to where you think the best place to tap into for a water temp gauge. I currently put it in the top side of the cross over tube in place of the plug. Now I am worried that is a bad place since that is where we fill our cooling system. Would you guys just leave it there or do you know a better a place to tap into? Also, if I should leave it there, have I let air in my system by doing this?

Thanks for the help!

I tapped the bottom of the block, driver side, beside the oil pan and left the stock sender in place. Giving me a reading in two separate sPots in the system.

There is already a fitting in the block that you can use (Drain fitting on side of block). You'll have to get the appropriate fitting to replace the factory plug.

EDIT: I see someone already posted a link to the location I'm referring to.
