What would be the most beneficial exhaust setup for PURE strip use? Open headers? X-pipe (no cats) or H-pipe (no cats) then dumped? Or would any setup (no cats) be just as good.

Exhaust is a restriction. But what ever tune you have accounts for that.
If you have a open header tune then run that. Otherwise run what you're tuned with.

Best? Long tubes with a custom made setup that has bullet mufflers welded in behind a H or X junction that dumps under the rear seats. No cats. Minimal restriction, save about 45 pounds off of a full exhaust system. Street/strip ready. JRS BLOWN SNAKE ran something like this. Pretty nice setup. Easiest way to do this may be to take an off road H orX midpipe and weld the mufflers in.

I personally run all of my exhaust directly back into the intake. I find i make the most power with this setup. Also, it is eco friendly.

Especially if you want a little boom boom in ya zoom zoom. If you know what i'm saying.

Come at me bro.

Kinda what I figured. But I know N/As benefit from have a H/X pipe to even back pressure. (To which I know really doesn't apply to F/I)

Not wanting to spend money on the L/Ts. Wouldn't mufflers increase restriction/reduce flow?
