I did some searching and it seems like the most recent poll was in 2008 and not too many posts in general about shocks. I am looking for feedback on the best shocks for a lowered Lighting. Since the roads do suck in Northern VA, I would like as smooth of a ride as possible. This is my daily driver too. I remember a few years ago there was some question about the durability of the QA1s.

Also, I have hellwig front/ rear sway bars and hotchkis springs all the way around. Would I benefit from shock extenders? Also, any bump steer stabilizer feedback would be appreciated too...

They list the TVS Bilsteins as still available, and their tech support didn't say they were out of production when I contacted them a couple months ago. I was hoping to swap on TVS Bilsteins and do the handling kit later, but the shock travel length is not the best fit for a stock suspended truck, so I sourced an OEM set and kept the factory units. But they still should be available.
