Love my Dark stars, but I'm looking to break into the badass realm of Weld or Billet Specialties racing rims...Trying to figure out which way I'm going to go. Please post up pics of your '11-'14 GT/BOSS with either of these wheels...The Street Lites or the RT-S S71, S76 or S77...I'm really like the Billet specialties Street Lite that comes in 17x4.5 (black/machined) and has the street certification...Thanks

Wow...great responses........Doing some homework I learned the Weld Alumastars fit with no problems over the base GT brakes and are OK to use sometimes on the streets......

I chose the traction of the Pros over the look of 20's in the rear. I love bringing the pain at the stop light drags!

Wow! Looks sick! That's the look I'm going for and not to mention 100% purpose built wheels that are safe for the street. What are the specs on your rear 15's? I was looking at doing 15x10 Weld RT-S in black/machined out back with 7.5" BS and running your exact same 17x4.5 street lites up front...
From Billet Specialties web site - 15x10 7.5" Backspace F-Body Single Beadlock. Designed to fit the 1993-2002 Camaro/Firebird & 2005-Present Mustang GT (Non-Brembo)

Thanks! Did you have to run the sway bar relo brackets out back to fit those or did they fit without the relo's because of the 7.5" BS? Thanks again for the info.

Stock sway bar mount must be cut to run a 15 x 10 wheel.

Ok thank you...I see in your other thread you mentioned having to run a 1/4" spacer for the rears to work, but you're also running a different brake setup. I see you've got the MT 28" fronts, what made you not go with the MT 26" fronts in the same exact tire? Too short? Thanks

Where can you buy the 28 front tires from?

Jegs or Summit Racing.

M&H Racemaster for 17" wheels, bias ply 28" tall skinny.
http://www.jegs.com/i/M-H/676/MSS-024/10002/-1?parentProductId=752031

Mickey Thompson Sportsman SR Radial for 17" wheels, radial 28" tall skinny. Really more like 27 1/4" though.
http://www.jegs.com/i/Mickey-Thompson/672/90000020408/10002/-1?parentProductId=758838

And Phoenix also makes a 27" tall bias ply skinny for 17" wheels.

Hope this helps.
