for my 40th, my mom gave me a Marlin model 336 30-30, the Zane Grey 100th anniversary edition commerative carbine. He's one of my favorite authors, and I love the Marlin 30-30's.

Nice! Post some more pictures of it showing its entirety. I'd love to see the rest of it. Did you post this in The Gun Porn Thread? I could swear that I saw a lever-action gun posted in there recently...

Nice, it looks like it's a beautiful gun!
I've wanted a Marlin lever action rifle for years, but I've never purchased one.
My Dad gave me a Winchester 30-30 Antlered Game commemorative rifle years ago for my birthday.

I only have the photos that my mom sent me.. I'm stuck in California, the carbine is in Oregon..

that's my 4th lever gun, I have 2 Winchester 94's that I inherited when my dad passed away, one's pre WW1 that was my grandfathers and the other is a pre 1900 Winchester 94 rifle hex barrel (holds 11 or 12 cartridges in the magazine) and the 3rd is a Savage 99 in 300 Savage I bought last year.

lever gun is def. something I want, something just too col about them.

The best lever gun is the Savage 99, by far strongest action and since it uses a rotary magazine you can use pointed bullets in it, unlike a tubular magazine rifle or carbine that has to use a flat or slightly rounded bullet.
