Black Chrome Emblems

Wanted to match the Black Chrome bumper letters.
We tried everything from tinted clear to that VHT night shades stuff, nothing worked.
so we diluted the paint 100%...then another 100% and then sprayed it from 4 feet, then added a base clear

After about 10 trys heres the results. epper:

Working on the Ford emblem as we speak :-D

That actually looks really goood! I like that a LOT. Now if my car was not black and I did not have the SS bumper inserts I would be all over doing that!

how and where do you get something black chromed?

We had to use paint that was diluted 200% and then spray if from about 4 feet up...this took a few weeks to get it right..approx 10 trys and lots of sanding in between.

We are doing the keyhole this week and I did my build numbers as well...but I think I like the look better without them..undecided so far.


As far as marketing them..hadn't thought of it..let me get back to you guys.

Once the Ford emblem is done I will post pics as well..its a tricky bugger to get right...but I think we may be there :-D
