Being able to see where I am going and what I am doing is much more important than any song. Being deaf would impact your life but going blind would completely change how you live and function.

This is a great poll. I remember being in the second grade and being ask this question. My teacher looked at me like I was stupid for saying I would take deaf over blind. Then got mad because I would not agree with her. I didn't like that woman.

That's like being deaf to me... if you're deaf, you can see everyone else talking, but can't hear. If you're blind, you can't hear everyone else seeing.

+1. I couldn't care less about a stupid song if I had to choose between being deaf or blind. I wouldn't be able to hear my finacee's voice again, but at least I'll be able to see her and be a functioning member of society.

Definitely rather be deaf. Not nearly as life changing as blindness. Also as mentioned, it can be overcome.
