It's a pretty simple installation. I put one on my GT with a 3650 and it's straightforward. You will have to remove the transmission crossmember and unbolt the shifter from the body of the car, but don't need to touch the front mounting points of the shifter. You'll have a ton of room to work since the trans mount will be out anyways. I'm really happy with the bracket. The shifting feels a lot smoother and more positive than before. I still grind 2nd from time to time, but this is a 150k mile transmission, so I can't be too mad. Definitely worth the money though!
Does anybody know if this will work with the aftermarket billet aluminum 1/2" drop crossmember sold by Shelby Performance Parts to drop the engine and transmission?
