honestly did not expect the F-boat to hang in there like that.
That's me! That firehawk moves well, it trapped 117 on a smaller cam ( now bigger cam) and without ls6 zo6 heads he has now. He also beat a 488whp 2013 5.0 cammed, cj, long tubes e85 last month... Big respect for ls1s doing work after all these years

I had a 94 firehawk that my dad left to me. A good friend of mine gave it the best nickname ever for a car, "The fire chicken." I ended up selling it to a friend because it needed alot of work as did the 71 vette that my dad left me. I just couldn't afford three money hungry sports cars. It was a cool car though.

Do you know what cam he is running, intake manifold? The 243 is a good factory casting and can be massaged quite a bit. Do you know if they were machined, ported any?

Who tuned your car? I thought the s550 cars actually lost power with the CJ setup.....I could be way wrong. Have you had your car on the dyno?

What's up Cory!!! Yea man cj made good gains and extra rpms is a big deal on a race as well. Ken Bjonnes from Lund racing tuned the car. BTW this specific firehawk beat by half a car a 2013 5.0 manual, cammed, cj, long tubes e85 making 486whp tuned by AED.
