Bolt on GT times good or not good?

I finally got a chance to go to darlington wed, with the GT. MY mod are cai, pulleys,tb& tb plenium, or x pipe, flowaster catback and stock 3.27 gears on mastercrap 295/50 street tires. Thw weather was about mid to low 70's with a 15mph headwind.

i think there pretty good, but you have a few more mods than i do. but i do know the 60 foot time are bad. i wanna say 1.6 or better is a start for a great 1/4 mile. just keep at it.

A 1.6 60' will require slicks and a bunch of suspension work

Dude with your mods(dont even add that much more hp) and STOCK gears, that is fast as ****.

What is elevation at that track? Has to be at sea level or real close?

Those time are VERY impressive for a 3.27 geared 2valve car. X2 on the elevation and location of the track.

Thanks man, I am very pleased with this Coupe. Actually had 2 runs that were practically identical and a couple in the 121 mph range. These were done at Kilkare in Xenia Ohio. DA for the day was a high 1250. Still workin on that 60' time w/5800 rpm 2-step launch

No it has not been tuned yet. I'm waiting for a set of headers and a meizer water pump. As far as the sea level goes darlington is not far from myrtle beach, here in SC. So I quess it was close to sea level. The only other mods were the passenger headlight removed and no front swaybar. I left the line at 3200 slipping the clutch ever so lightly and it dead hooked.

I think I could run with a stock ls1! I raced a 98-99 TA A4 with lid, diablo tuner, LT's, y pipe, single champers,stall and he got me by 11/2 to 2 cars from 50-60 mph to 105. I started in 2nd at about 4600rpm to his 2nd gear . It wasn't that bad! I know stock ls1's can run low 13's high 12's but anything can happen on the street!!!

lol some of you guys make it sound with gears and a mid pipe hell run 12's, lmao.

I see that u own a Cobra right? Then why the HELL are u swingin on the LS1 nutt's. Sorry we all can't get Cobra's for there daily drivers!!!! It sounds like you should own a thunderchicken or a slowmaro. By the way my friend had a 02 WS6 m6 with bolt ons and got slaughtered by a 02 WS6 m4 that was stock on the interstate, from about the same speed. I got on camera! If you want to call BS.
