When adding boost what is the rule of thumb for tuning as far as timing retard and fuel percentage increase per pound of boost added?

Don't know about a rule of thumb. But if there is one, I'd like to hear it too.
RWTD put 23 degrees into my custom tune for the mods listed in my sig. I found that anything more than 23 degrees yields very little gains.
