Boost gauge connection

I tee'ed off the brake booster vacuum line and am seeing only vacuum (even at high RPMs). Does this mean I am tied into the wrong vacuum line or I am not seeing any boost? The brake booster line doesnt seem to drop vacuum pressure much even when at WOT... I am confused here. Was expecting to see 8.5 psig and see -20 in Hg most times... Please help.

I am considering moving the connection to my PCV line (downstream of the check valve) but please let me know if this will solve my issue? This assumes there is a check valve in the vacuum system near the intake. That thing that was covered in black rubber??

~20 in Hg at all times; no matter what RPM. Really weird; not what I expected. Anyone have any ideas here??

Yeah - I think you got the wrong line - I think by definition the "brake booster vacuum line" is always in vacuum...

ya ya, got it. Teed into bov line and reading 6-7 psig.
