Boost Gauge ?

I put my truck into park tonight and shut it off and noticed my boost gauge only went to 10 on the vac side and did not go back up to 0. Is there something wrong with my gauge? Do I need to send it back to Autometer? Anyone else experience this?

turn the key on but do not start and where does it go to?
edit:sorry i am thinking of an electric guage
Umm try unpluging the vac line and see it it goes back other than that it maybe toast

+1 on the Vac line, also check that the line is not kinked, sometimes the plastic hoses get a kink in them and that will throw off the reading.

Took it out and it still reads 10 on the vacuum side. Should I talk to autometer about getting it warrantied?

mine hasnt started that..mine just bounces..damn non-fluid filled thing LOL
need to find a fluid filled mechanical unit...but never seen one (never looked)

Mine out the truck showed 7inchs of vacuum, i sent it off to autometer yesterday for recalibration. The guy i spoke to said it would be free if nothing is broken.
