Just wondering if anybody has installed or seen in person the boost overlay from Livernois Motorsports that was featured in the January issue of 5.0
Couple of questions that I have for anybody that has it or has seen it in person.
How close does it come to matching the origanal cluster in the Cobra. I just bought an 04 and it seems that the stock cluster has a sparkle to the white when seen in daylight. Does this aftermarket overlay have the same effect thus matching the other guages?
Do you cut and peel the stock "boost" overlay off and replace it with the aftermarket one? I can see doing this because the stock black bezel would cover the cut portion. Not that I am excited about doing this to a good cluster mind you. Although it seems to me that if you just layed the aftermarket one over top of the origanal, It would be dimmer at night due to backlight having to penetrate two layers.
