Boosted Stock Bottom End King 2016 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII

This last weekend I got it. This is on a 20 year old stock B-head 4.6 that has never had the valve covers off. I'm running 8 psi on a tiny S-trim with the typical bolt-ons. The car runs on E85 with a rear-mount fuel cell. To add to the excitement, I know the car has more left in it. The pass was made at 77 degrees with a DA of 2282 feet. Timing is still plenty safe at 17 degrees. Eff it, now I want high 10s.

turn it up a little more, you should be able to trap 120-122 safely still

We hit cool air on Saturday and got this 20 year old stock junk even lower! This was my first pass, and quickest. The others were 11.33, 11.35, and 11.38. We have still not bumped the timing for the E85 yet. The car sits at a safe 17 degrees. But first, I have to figure out which way to go to get more rpms now. The car was crossing the traps at almost 7000 rpms on 28" drag radials. I can't go any taller on the tires but my crappy street converter is unlocked the whole pass. (won't hold lockup) So perhaps a better converter with a solid lockup in 3rd will be enough to give me room for about 4mph to get this pig in the 10s. You can see my pass in the video lounge. All stock internals !! :rockon:
