Brake Light On Dash

Any idea is to why this light would be coming on all the time. I thought that light was for when the anti-lock brakes were having to work, but now the light comes on five out of ten normal stops.

Brake fluid level sensor. When level drops with normal pad wear the sensor triggers with moderate stops. Check to make sure pads are OK, then add a little fluid to reservoir.
