Brakes are sqeaking like crazy (2000 miles). The dealer told me that the brake pads are fine and the squeaking is common for these semi-metallic pads and they won't replace them under warranty. Will different pads do the trick - possibly ceramic ?
You have high performance front BREMBO brakes/pads. When they warm up, a lot of the squeaking goes away. Our cars are VERY nose heavy and require a high performance material to stop. If you want a quiet car and no squeeky brakes, then it's time to trade up for a regular car, not a high performance vehicle.
Maybe there are some high performance brake setups that produce less noise, but be ready to spend $1200+ just for the front, $1200+ for the back. I've seen high-performance brake packages for close to $2000 per pair.
