Quick question...I'm looking at picking up some 00 Cobra R brakes for my 2004 Cobra. I've got a friend with a 2000 GT who's looking at buying my brakes and installing them on his car. Does anyone have a good write-up or anything for this swap?

Also, what parts do I need to make these brakes work on his car?

Thanks.

in order to install cobra brake calipers on a GT you just need the caliper, brake lines, and rotors. The caliper has a different mounting location so it raises it up to meet a larger rotor~ the brake lines he has may work but I am not 100% sure.

I put 2003 Cobra brakes on my 1994 V6 mustang back in 03. Only things needed were 17" or bigger rims, calipers, brake lines, and rotors. Bolted right up.

Ya I installed my factory calipers on a buddies GT when I upgraded to the Brembos. You will need different banjo bolts and rotors thats it.

+1 the only thing that is going to be different and wont bolt up is the banjo bolts....good luck! He'll love them!
