Brakes and tires

Hey guys,

Just pulled the Lightning out as I was overseas for 2 years, needs new brakes and tires, it's not a dd and in a couple years will be put through a full makeover, but wanted some decent brakes without breaking the bank.

Tires was thinking the nitto 555??

I prefer the Nitto 05s. How do you pln on using the truck and what is your budget for brakes?

Plan is to be a truck I drive 2-3 times a week, budget is a bit up in air. My plan is to completely redo the truck from bottom up, the suspension is done with tvs system and in some years I will go with wilwood's all around, so just want something that will give good braking power now but they will come off in the next 3-5 years.

Also truck has been sitting for a few years, I have done all the norm, oil, filters, ect and has 97k on it any other recommendations on maintenance ?

I had the 555's and I got 25k out of them. Traction is better than the F1's.

Nitto 555's are pretty good tires. Have them on mine.
