I would skip the ebay rotors and either go for stock replacement from rockauto.com or aftermarket ones from cjponyparts or american muscle.

The IRS is one of the major features of our cars, why would you want to put a GT rear end under it?

I like my IRS. Makes me feel that much closer to a Terminator. haha. I agree, I bought the Cobra because of IRS.

Not that I dont like SRA's. Just like being different.

Depends on your route. Gonna strictly go straight fast? Then yes. If not, no.

I have Irs swapped into my GT. Love it compared to my old GT with Sra. Feels more stable even with 150 extra whp on it.

Stick with the IRS and get FTBR's kit. It sucks installing the bushings and setting the drive shaft angle ect. but in the end it is worth it. Increased handling and being able to fully deliver the power to the ground. Why wouldn't you want to keep the IRS? That's the real question...
