First time out this year on the 1/4, broke in the new Mickey Thompson Pro Bracket Radial's, and finally hit the 10's.

nice work... breaking into 10s for the first time was an awesome feeling for me.

Doing it shifting gears is even more impressive.. well done!

My best was an 10.7@101 1000ft. on a mostly stock 12 GT rowing gears, on a/s tires... Can't wait to go back I just got NITTO NT555's, BOSS IM, CAI, O/R/X pipe, UCA, and a VMP tune; hopefully I'll beat my neighbors built Lightning w/ a Whipple and drag radials his best was a 10.2.image.jpg

Except he hit 10s in the 1/4 mile, not 1000 ft. Dude's GT500 can scoot!

I still remember my first 10 second pass. It was a 10.76. I knew it would be close, but then shit when I saw the 10.76. So much fun. Congrats!

I would like to be in the 10's in the 1/4 when I finish my car but I mostly do auto-x and road course racing, straight line is fun but I LOVE the twisties. From what I've seen at the track if I hit everything right on some dot drag radials I might push mid to high 11's in the 1/4 now, but my luck I'd run a 13 and just never tell anyone about it.

Well as it stands, a 10.79 in the 1000ft would most like equate to somewhere around 12.6 in the 1/4 mile. I'd say since adding a couple of things, and you would HAVE to have good drag radials, 11.999999999 isn't too far out of reach lol
