My antenna is broken at the base. Below where it unscrews. Dont know how, One day I went in the garage and the antenna was gone. Anybody ever replace the whole antenna assembly with a stock new one? Any ideas on cost, difficulty? My local Ford dealer looked at me like I was crazy and pulled up something in the parts list that looked like a 1980's CB antenna.

I would ask steve a tousley ford on the board here under the classifieds for a price. he's the best you'll find. OR you can just buy the base and get an aftermarket shorty that looks cleaner for a few bucks at the autozone or ebay.
