I have recently replaced many parts on my Cobra and thought I would share my experience.

First I broke the stock 10 spline.

While running the Spec stage 3 the clamp load from the pressure plate was just to extreme to hold 640tq.

So I decided to go with a Mcleod RXT which was a great option and price. I bought a 26 spline input shaft and the clutch from Tony at Astro Performance, heck of a guy. He had me setup with the spline and bearings and shim kit for less than Lethal Perf. Highly recommend those guys at Astro.

While tightening the drive shaft I found a upper control arm destroyed !

I ditched the junk SVES and bought a new set of UPRs.

The UPRs are constructed very well and installed with ease.

Check out how stretched these are !

Now the silver back is on the road and reeling in quality GO-PRO kills once again !

Lots of new goodies to install next, complete return setup and the NX kit. Going to hit it with a 100 dry and see what breaks next.

Thanks for stopping by and reading.

on control arms, get a longer bolt and double nut them. It allows movement instead of being squished tight

Damn that cobra must have been beat to shit, how many miles?
The previous owner had taken it to the track ALOT. Every drivetrain component is new and all suspension is new. The car has 85 on it now but you couldn't tell looking at it or under it.
