Broken TB gasket

Would a broken tb gasket be the cause of a hunting idle and high idle? I don't want to buy a whole new throttle body and that not be the issue. Especially if it's a $20 fix.

It could. A bad gasket will cause a vacuum leak. I'd try the gasket first.

Check your vacuum at idle ......also check your Maf voltage and see if its stable at idle .
