Hi everyone. sorry if this has been covered, but i did a search and can't find any info. I live in an apartment, but really want to be able to have the benefit of a buffer. Is anyone powering their buffer with a power inverter from their cigarette lighter? And if so, how much of a drain is it on the battery? I wouldn't want to use the buffer for 15 minutes and then have to get my car jump started. thanks in advance.

Extension cord??

Not possible, i live on the top floor of the complex. I can see someone tripping and then suing me lol. I have also looked into the mguiars new cordless buffer coming out, but it is probably garbage.

you could use one of thoes little battery jumpstarter things(that are kept in the car so if your car wont start you dont need another car to jumpstart you), they usually have an outlet on them and will run for a good amount of time too.

corner of walk and don't walk
if you use the power inverter you will need the one that handles a least a 4.5 - 5.5 amp continous load rating
hope this helps.

FYI- the PC states that the current draw is 3.7 amps
