Did anyone of you build his oun house? i just want to ask how much it will cost despite the price of the place and the furniture;and how many days it will take?

I have had three houses built for me. I general contracted one of them myself. Price is so variable, it depends on the part of the country and the amenities you put in it (granite, marble, fixtures, etc.) General bare bones constuction you can still get done for $65/square foot. How many days is also variable depending on location. After permitting is complete and without weather and material delays, a 2000 square foot basic home should be able to be complete in 3-4 months, if you have a reliable G.C.

Once again those answers are going to vary based on many things.

$65 a square foot? WOW! You can build a 2,000 square foot house for $130,000. I'm moving to were you live. More like $125-175 around here ($250,000-350,000 in Maryland) depending what your building. Good luck!
