Just know there’s no tuning available for the 21+ yet but they’re getting close. Whipple was testing a supercharger application for the 21s about a week or two ago. Shouldnt be long.

Bryce, can’t remember if you said you’re going to run e85 or not. What other pulleys are you planning to throw on?

No e85, the nearest gas station selling it is 600 miles away...lol! The truck has an On3 twin turbo kit currently pushing 9psi. I'm hoping to get to 15psi and ~800whp but have to discuss that with my tuner.

I been stalking Whipple about the readiness of their kits and I will be ordering as soon as they get the tuning down. I am more excited about this truck build than I am about the 2021 Camaro ZL1 1LE that I am also waiting to get!

Lol I’m retarded. Had whipple on the brain and forgot you’re running the on3 kit.

Ken tunes mine as well. Can’t see any reason why you wouldn’t be able to reach to 800.

Any updates on the truck? You get the new diff installed?

Sent from my SM-G986U1 using the svtperformance.com mobile app

It's going well! The Mustang diff is installed and working great. I'm still working with Oz Tuning on the tune. We didn't get reliable results with Boostane only so I installed methanol injection and so far the results are promising. The truck pulls like a freight train even at only 9 psi making well over 700whp. Launching in 4x4 is insane with 0-60 in 3s.

Here's a few pics of the Alky Control meth kit install:

Control units installed in the glove box. The controller is progressive so the turn-on point can be adjusted as well as the ramp up rate. I have it set to turn on at 5 psi.

The factory windshield washer reservoir is used to hold the 50/50 water methanol mix. I drilled a new hole and moved the washer pump up then used the factory hole for the meth pump pickup.

Dual nozzles installed in the charge pipe in front of the throttle body. Alky Control recommended a 10gph and a 15gph nozzle for my needs.

I installed the pump on the frame cross member along side the oil filter for the turbos.

So does that mean the wife gets a surprise when she’s trying to wash the windshield?? Lol.
No wife so no worries...lol! -40C winter washer fluid is just 60/40 water/methanol anyways so I'd be OK using my windshield washer if I was in a pinch. Lots of guys just use winter washer fluid in their meth injection rather than mix their own. It's cheap and generally easy to find, depending on where you live. I mix my own because I wanted a higher methanol content than what is available off the shelf. I mix it 50/50 by weight which is about 55-60% methanol by volume.

Turned up the boost from 9 to 14psi and:

132mph in the 1/4, works out to 864rwhp!! Not bad for 91 octane and some meth...lol. Needless to say I'm happy! Ignore the e.t. for now cause I botched the launch. I don't think I'll play around too much at this level because I could tell the trans wasn't happy. Shout out to Oz Tuning, they know these trucks inside and out and know how to make them scream!

That’s gotta be a 2wd launch with a 2.2. Put that sucker in 4hi. I’ve cut 1.8s on nitto 420vs on the street and you’ve got more power than me.

How much did it put down on the dyno? Be interesting to see how much it picked up on the street with a full load.

It was in 4H. I don't think I brake boosted long enough. Last time I tested 1/4 mile it went 1.72s to the 60'.

Never been on a dyno. I'm doing an email tune with Oz Tuning. At 9psi it went 10.99 @ 125mph which works out to about 730whp.

What brand/product did you use for this CF wrap?

3M Scotchprint 1080 series. Just in case you're a wrap newb like me, buy some adhesion promoter and use it anywhere there is an inside curve/corner, otherwise the wrap will lift. Also be aware that adhesion promoter can damage some types of surfaces so test first.

Thanks a lot. I have messed with wraps enough to know there are some that are a glorified sticker (PITA to apply) and some are a proper wrap with "air release" adhesive that allows you to work out wrinkles MUCH better.

I want to wrap the back of my C5. I previously did a red/grey/black digital camo but looking to change it up.

This was the 3M wrap I used. Not user friendly compared to a Vvivid product I have used. But it seems only an Avery Dennison brand is available now.

The truck box was "well used" by the previous owner so it was time for a bed liner. All I can say is whatever your local installer charges to do this, it isn't enough...lol! Sanding all the nooks and crannies is a nightmare and working in a truck bed is murder on the knees!

Product used: Raptor bed liner kit. 4 bottles is just enough for a thin coat. If you want to build some thickness you'll need 8.

Prepped. I used an electric orbital sander wherever possible but lots had to be done by hand.

Finished! I took the extra time to tape off the bed bolts and remove the plugs and covers instead of spraying over them.

Oh, and it ran it's first 9.
.....on the street!
.....on pump gas!

I intended to record the pass with the Dragy app but I'm just an idiot and didn't press the record button. DA was around 1500'.

0-60 in 2.3 seconds.

And to celebrate......
