I think it's just GM vehicles in general. Not so much the C6 Vettes, but the C5's were literally silent with stock exhaust, even the Z06's. The new Camaro's are the same way.

That thing sounds awesome though, exactly how a Corvette should sound. I like the black on black look too.

Maybe at idle, but when I drove a stock C5 Z06 and stood on it, it screamed through that titanium exhaust like it already had an aftermarket system on it. I drove a new one back in 04. Loved them ever since.
