I have been working the air out of my cooling system, The car has an aftermarket radiator, the cooling mods and 170 thermostat. My question is after I shut the system and drive it, I waited a day and opened the crossover fill port plug it still has pressure on it. Anyone else run into this?

Yes everyone who does not have a hole in the system will.

Release pressure at rad tank and re-install cap.

Open burp plug and add if needed.

If you open the burp plug with the rad cap still open, the coolant flows down into the tank from the crossover tube leaving air there---------> and an over fill in the tank.(less room for expansion)

Ok, so do open the cap on the expansion thanks, the burping instructions said to never open that at this point. Thanks, puts my mind at ease knowing this is normal.
