Buying 99 SVT, Question on "the fix"

Hey guys i used the search function a few times and it either didn't work or i was unable to find the answer to this question. When the 99 Cobras got the "fix" done, i know they were somehow marked with a yellow or green dot. The question is where were these marks made and when im lookin at the cars, whats the easiest way to tell if it has had the fix or not?

BTW, have most or all 99's already had the fix done by Ford?

call SVT and give them the VIN number, they will tell you if vehicle had the "fix", or also, call any Ford dealer, have them search the VIN, and system will list services done on the vehicle, look for terms "performance kit or recall" (intake, exhaust, etc...).
