C/C plates kicked my arse.

Not that they were hard, just wore me out. Strut nuts are a biotch without an impact and compressing the strut a couple times will wear you out.

I hear that. When we did mine, we spent some time confused as to which side to place the plates on and how many spacers to use. And drilling through the fender wells was no joke.

I think the trick to compressing the struts is to apply a certain amount of pressure and then just hold it while the strut slowly compresses, rather than trying to apply more and more strength until you get it where you want.

At least you got the right c/c plates!

It was a no brainer on the plates, for the money and the quality, nothing else compares.


I ended up using the 2 small spacers on top and the 2 thick ones on the bottom, probably not right but it did give me a little more travel with the lowering springs. Do you remember which way you did yours?
