I see that the stock 2001 Cobra has a 80mm mass air but would it be more benifitial to upgrade to the 95mm, because isn't it right more air, more power.
I would be interested in what others think about this issue, but here is my opinion. I think that the more air more power rule only makes sense to a certain degree. For a supercharged engine, you would certainly want to go with the larger mass air meter. However, you might not need more with a naturally aspirated engine. The aftermarket mass air meters flow better than the stock ones, and so they can make sense. The one I have actually as a much larger intake area that flows into an 80mm tube. It seemed to improve upper rpm power (like all my other mods). However, some lower rpm driveability might have been lost. This, I hope, will be fixed by gears.
