The title says that it was an 04, and you'd be suprised how fast the 01's are. I used to have one and the supposed slower 385hp to the now 405hp doesn't mean jackshit. I actually think it was faster than my new one.

Yeah, a properly driven 02-04 z06 should put more of a hurting. The best trap ive ever heard of come out of a C6 is 112, ive personally seen an 04 Z06 stock down to the f1's go 11.91@117, and heard of numerous people trapping 116.

You are full of shit. I have raced both 01's and 02-04's several times and there is quite a difference. I have seen multiple vids of 02 and up waxing C6's by several cars. I guess the passanger in the Z must have wieghed 500 lbs or so.

With the Z51 option on the C6 you get the same gearing of the M12 Tranny the C5 Z06 had.

it's hard to judge from a roll. with cars that close in horespower, that split second difference on who gets the hit can determine the race. and most people who have driven a C6 and a C5 Z06, say the z06 is still the better car
