Another private track rental down in Tucson at Tucson Dragway and another shot at trying for a new best in the C7 Z06. Since the last event we changed out the factory blower that was overspun by a good amount to a Magnuson Heartbeat TVS 2300 and pullied it to try to match the original setup for a good comparison. The factory blower was pullied for 13 psi and this is making right around 14 psi so it's not exact but it's close. This setup is completely out of fuel on the factory fuel system at this point even with a single nozzle of meth injection running. At some point a good aftermarket cam will go in and then we can really turn it up and benefit from the TVS 2300.

Damn thing shifts fast!

On track mode, the Hellcat’s shifting is pretty damn close to that. The CTS-V is a bit faster than the hellcat. The V shifts so fast and without any hesitation at all. It’s nuts.

And consider that corvette not only ran a 9, but it can still set records on road tracks too.

Yeah the lame ass 1.7 blower the C7Z came with really limits what you can do without going into the motor. Add a 2.3 and the entire platform changes. Good for 140+ trap speeds all day long. That particular car was also a stage 1 aero which really helps.
