Wtf are you even trying to argue? What's your idea of a perfect setup then? Why bother run a CFTP on cup 2's when a Hoosier is faster?

Max performance comes at a cost, you either compromise or you trailer a car to the track where you then run non DOT max effort tires...

Different strokes different folks, do whatever you want.

This is the kind of person who says Demon crates are aftermarket...

Exactly what I’m saying! People here are pissed because I would choose to compromise so called performance, when they themselves are doing the exact same thing.

Nice...did you get the “full” version?

Plan to run slicks on it?

It’s interesting that everyone cares so much about my thoughts/experience.
You keep saying I can’t drive without dr because I will lose performance.
My question is simple. Why stop at the dr? Why not run slicks and skinnies like the et drag pros on the cobra jet. If your run anything less you are giving up time and speed!

I already explained it numbnuts

It's nice to see everyone agreeing that hellcats are has beens.

They had a good long run.

I’ll take a supercharged big V8 for as long as they’ll make them.
My Foxbodys are probably has beens, but I still love them too.
But I’m an SVTP Baller and every car I own is faster than anything ON D BIT has ever owned.
Plus we all know it’s not the BIT he’s on.

I can’t believe people still argue with him after all these years.

I had to go back and do a little looking but I see what you mean.

For a guy who has never owned anything more powerful than Ford Ranger, On D Bit sure fancies himself the SVTP Guru.

the thing everyone is questions is if you’ve ever driven on drag radials in a higher power car? They aren’t nearly as much of a compromise as you’re making them out to be. One way or another there is compromise, I pick any of the upper end street tires that are better compound and I sacrifice rain ability and god forbid the temps are below 50 out.

go all season even some of the performance offerings and you sacrifice dry performance.

It just comes down to what one wants out of their drive and what they are willing to trade off in turn to meet their goals. I never had issues with spirited back road drives even with drag radials as I ran them on 17s and they weren’t so over sized where they was a ton of rear end sway. Reality- if you’re looking to push that hard on the street you likely belong on a road course anyway so again more trade offs.

welcome to the car enthusiast world
