Vette did pretty good but still gets walked fairly easily. Not bad though for a car down 200+ horsepower.

All things being equal, the HC easily pulls during roll races. However, from a dig, there is no bigger nightmare than a M6 Hellcat, hahahaha.
Stangmode put up a vid from the strip where he races a c7z06 and then c8 stingray. C7z is pretty close ~10.7. C8 not so much, runs 12ish IIRC. I thought it would be closer, when C8 was released I remember hearing that it would be on par with C7z

Its a stock manual HC. The auto HC would clap them C8 cheeks.

This is true. That itsjusta6 *** raced a 571hp 07GT500 against a new C8, and CLEARLY let off the first run to keep it even. Then the next few runs, the blower belt was slipping so bad at shifts, you could hear it over both cars. And his crew acted like the C8 was just plain faster. Yeah no pumpkin, its not.
Cold temps, likely damp (did I see wipers at some point), worst example of a Hellcat (M6 on stock tires), and the races where the C8 has the advantages.
I guess it’s better to watch than paint dry, but doesn’t change my thoughts on either car.
