I just painted my calipers with the G2 red paint system this weekend. I did not paint the caliper brackets yet? should I have painted them red?, or should I do black, or silver? My car is laser red with black tails, and black cobra letters, with chrome cobra R's. Just undecided, and would like some opinions.

Thanks
Rich

I painted the brackets last night with black duplicolor, and they turned out awesome. Thanks for the opinions!

how hard was yours to paint, Im doing mine in a week or two, how long did it take?

It took me a total of about 4 hours, but I also installed new cross drilled/slotted rotors from stangsuspension.com

It should only take a couple hours if your just painting. I bought the G2 red paint kit (ebay), and a duplicolor black paint kit (autozone). Then power washed the calipers at the local wash, cleaned them really good with brake clean, and wire brush. Then masked off the brakets, rubber parts, and bleeder with painters tape. Put 2 coats of red on (at least 15min before 2nd application). Then did the same to the brackets 24 hours later. Then used a piece of sand paper over the cobra on the fronts. Pretty easy, just take your time.

I'll break it down as simple as I can for you

Step 1 - Upload imaes from your camera using the software that was provided with it. Resize the images as well, if the software provides this option.

Step 2 - Remember the location on your computer those images were saved to (what folder they're in).

Step 3 - Go to http://imageshack.us/

Step 4 - Click "choose", find the folder your pictures are saved in, and upload them.

Step 5 - Copy the last link on the new page "direct link to.."

Step 6 - Click the yellow mountain looking icon in your type box on the forum (

). Backspace out the "http" and paste the link you copied off of image shack. Then post and your all set.

Thanks, sound simple enough. I will see if I can get my wife to take a few pics of the brakes, and send them to me at lunch. otherwise tommorow.
