Wilwood, Brembo, STOP-TECH, Baer, etc... what are the best and/or most cost effective.

For just over 1K, those 4 piston Cobra-R Brembos look awfully tempting!

Something that really contrasts with black.

Glad to see you're coming around....

Unless you change master cylinders, you pretty much can't increase your caliper piston area (which is what actually increases clamping pressure). Your biggest functional gains will come from improved pad compound & braided steel lines.

I believe(?), if you want the cheapest route...the Wilwood 4 or 6 piston calipers (w/brackets) are available separately w/o rotors (re-use stock..unless you want drilled/slotted) for approx. $200ea. They have a 6-piston kit w/rotors/brackets/lines for about $1200.

All of your choices (as long as they are 4/6 piston) will perform about the same...it's just what looks best to you...you can't go wrong ...

Oh, great! Now I have to research bigger/better master cylinders :rollseyes ... will this never end?!? :lol1:

dgussin1, thank you for the offer. StopTech's are in the running. I just understand that the pads are more expensive... not sure how much though.
