I'm pulling the blower and cam covers off here shortly and figured it would be a good time to check the cam timing as the cams were installed by the previous owner. Does anyone have opinions on the kits available from MMR and Modular Head Shop? The description and piuctures on their sites are lacking so I'm not sure if there are any differences besides price.

I'm leaning towards MMR simply because I want to order some other stuff from them at the same time. Can an 18" degree wheel be used with the engine in the car? Could I piece together the same paarts at Summit Racing for less? Thanks!

If you're wanting to time the cams I would plan on pulling the engine. After dealing with them on the stand I wouldn't even try with it in the car.

Thanks for the advice. Everything I've read seems to says the same thing so I think I'll just leave it alone until I have a reason to pull the engine.
