Your going to like it, when I first walked into the shop when this was just in the works I about fell over when I heard it. It sounds good on even stock exhaust but with no cats and an axle back, its bad ass. Post up some video once you have your tune loaded

I emailed Mr Lund a few days ago with no response. It is usually that way? I would think he would want to sell some more of his famous tunes

He was at the Texas Mile all weekend. Give him a bit of time to catch up on all the emails he has. I'm sure he will get with you shortly.

Or you can go thru Revan Racing or L&M Engines to get it.

Lund is a very sharp guy, he knows JUST what the market is like and is playing it like a Stradivarius.
This tune is surely going to be hot as hell and sell like crazy, because of just one very important feature of it.

However that won't be the amount of power increase obviously since that was not mentioned and obviously not very many in this thread care about that at all.

Power? Who cares?

It's a lopey idle "Ghost cams" tune that is ONLY about the "lope dude!"

How freaking pathetically sad is that?:dw:

Posers much? I don't know why I was surprised, I should have seen this coming.

Oh brother:rollseyes, have a nice night.:nonono:

You are right it adds no power to the tune at all and they say it does not take away any but until someone who has one dyno's it we really do not know.
I have both Lunds tunes and to me the cammed is not as powerful as his aggressive. Could be the feel of the tune but it just does not seem to have what his 93 aggressive does and that is one of the best tunes.

This makes me laugh!! I can see usig the word poser to an extent, but not everyone has money just falling out if their pockets to put aftermarket cams in a brand new car. It is always going to be two sided when it comes to mods. You may not like the mods that I have just like I might not like the mods you have. To each his own!! If you think that a TUNE is being a poser then I hope you don't have a TUNE on your car. The only difference in the tune you may have and the tune that Lund is selling is his sounds different at idle. Why spend thousands of dollars on aftermarket cams when- 1. Your not going to be racing, and 2. You can get the same sound for a fraction of the cost. I will be purchasing this tune, but I'm not going around flaunting cams that I dont have. I'm not posing like I have a 800 horse motor under the hood. It would be more for MY satisfaction than the guy listening to my car.

Just my two cents.

Fine laugh all you want, it will now SOUND like you have race cams, TO ONLY YOU.:rollseyes

I don't know how you get that I think having a tune is being a poser.
Tunes keep cars with more boost from blowing up and allow it to make MORE POWER.

In days gone by, buying cams was all about increasing power, that why people put different cams in.
The idle degradation was an unintended side effect.
Now today even the guys buying real cams, a lot of them(not all) are doing it primarily for the bad idle, at least they get some power increase.

Now with this specific tune(not all tunes) you have an enormous amount of people who are going to go this route,
JUST FOR THE INTENDED PRIMARY EFFECT OF-->the idle degradation.

Because it sounds like it has cams.

SOUNDS LIKE and not having = POSING. :nonono:
But I guess it will only sound like that to just you.

That is sad to me, we now have the technology to dial in adjustable overlap as RPM increases, which can extend RPM capability and power production greatly---> without affecting idle quality and low rpm drive-ability, and yet we are using this same technology to do the opposite solely because it sounds cool.

BTW I am a HUGE Jon Lund fan and will probably be using him for my next tune, this is not a criticism of him.

I would want as much power and RPM capability as I could get, but if I could still have stock idle with the same tune, that is what I would prefer.

I am not telling anyone not to do what you want with your own car, just know that some of us think that having JUST a lumped up idle without the added power seems pretty silly.

Jim. if it has the cam to do it its not posing... its like saying your a porn star and your only allowed to use 4" out of 10" in a girl, otherwise iis posing if you throw it all in her... if you have it you should be allowed to use it all... coupled with mods it sounds mean and moves out... thus not posing...

What?
Why would you want a screwed up idle?
When you can have more power than stock yet still have a perfect idle.

Anyone who gets axle backs is also a poser, IMO. In general race cars / high performance cars are loud. All aftermarket axle backs are louder and don't really do anything to improve performance... but they do sound more like a 'race car'... thus posing.

Everyone who lowers their cars to point it degrades performance are also posers... the lowered look comes from pretty much any race car setup for a track, trying to mimic that without actually improving suspension is just posing.

Oh any tunes that mess with throttle sensitivity that makes the car 'feel' faster is also posing. It makes it feel like you have more power than you really do.

Really, who gives a shit? Do whatever you want. Some of the tunes with loopy idle sound bad... tho some are pretty sick. I'll probably get a mild one eventually to try.
