From this date forward (October 26, 2007) this will be the only thread allowed for requesting Carfax reports.
If you start a seperate thread it will be closed! If you dont follow these rules your request will be removed.
If any person with a Carfax account would like to offer to run a Carfax this is the place to make that known. If they choose not to run your Carfax or it isnt done soon enough for you, feel free to purchase your own report at www.carfax.com
1. Post your SINGLE request for a carfax report after knowing that the VIN you post belongs to the car you actually want to purchase. That means you are planning on buying that car unless there is a negative report.
2. List the V.I.N. and YOUR email address so it can be forwarded to you.
3. Do NOT request reports on a car you own, you used to own, a relative owns, your friend thinks he wants to buy, etc. This is a favor by a member of SVTP, do NOT abuse that.
4. Posters requesting multiple reports over a short period of time will have those requests removed. If you NEED multiple reports, you should purchase your own account.
5. This is a benefit of being a member here, do not expect to join so you can request a carfax. If you have less than 10 posts, your request will be removed.
If you cant follow these simple rules, you will find your requests removed
