Can we "Buff" light scratches out on our '04 Chromies?

I've got very light scratches around the outside of my wheels, with a few on the spokes themselves. They look like they could have been made by a tire sidewall brush. I have tried different chrome polishes but none seem to help. Has anyone used the Porter cable to "Buff out" the scratches?? If so what sort of abrasive/polish did you use. I have the porter cable, Scott P's pads, and Poor Boys ssr 2 polish.

I dont see why you wouldn't be able to buff them out. Mothers makes that stupid powerball thing that I bought to clean my parents chrome wheels. And im damn sure your porta cable is more gentle than the powerball. If it were me I would take whatever polish your using on your paint and just go at it, but its not me. So wait for someone to 100% confirm it.

yes u can buff on chrome just dont kill it ifu kno wat u mean, less is more and patienceis the key lol
