Presents “CAR CLUB DAY” in Santa Paula

Santa Paula welcomes our Car Clubs by closing off Historic Main Street for parking of our cars. Street parking starting at 1001 E. Main Street will be from 9 AM to 11:30 AM. Volunteers will be at the location to guide you.
A private showing at the California Oil Museum of the Special Exhibit “Revolution in Racing: The Three Coopers That Changed the World”, including a short talk by a friend of the owner of these cars. The California Oil Museum, a 1890 National Historic Site, was constructed by the founders of the Union Oil company, and served as company headquarters when constructed. In addition to a private showing of the Cooper collection, the museum includes extensive historical exhibits. There is a $3 fee for entrance to the Museum.
After the museum tour, we will take a short ride to the Santa Paula Airport. We will enjoy a Sunday Brunch together in a private dining room at Longston’s Restaurant at the airport at Noon.
Following Brunch we have been offered a private showing of the Aviation Museum of Santa Paula. This museum features the unusual “Chain of Hangers” chronicling local aviation history. The airport is the home of antique, classic, experimental and modern aircraft. There will be plenty of opportunities to photograph your car or club members around the airport and planes.
