did you try to start it with the throttle open? if the IAC is stuck shut, the engine won't get any air

Hey James!
Read about your issue on Mod Fords. With wet plugs that are heavily carbonized it seems as though it may be a spark or a compression issue. The wet plugs may not be a result of a rich fuel mixture, but a byproduct of unignited fuel due to lack of sufficient spark. I would first change the plugs. Small investment and they need to be changed anyway due to their current condition. If that does not solve it...check for ignition and or compression issues. Coil packs have also been known to go bad.

Got her all fixed. BADLY plugged fuel filter. Car would 0only make 20lbs of fuel pressure. Thanks to all who helped-
