I plan on doing a solid axle swap in the next couple of weeks. I already have the 8.8 stuff ready, but what else do I need as far as brakes, exhaust hangers, etc...?

PostBan: Thanks for the reply. I know the older rears were 3/4" narrower on each side, although the SN95 cars had longer axles (same length as ours I think). Will an earlier rear work with the proper axles and moan braces for the calipers?

Some guys prefer the earlier rears for the clearance that 1.5 inches gives. Your term "moan braces", is that the same as brake mount brackets? Had not heard that term before.

I have a custom 3" catback with magnaflow mufflers. And 4" Polished Megs tips with a rolled lip. With an Off-Road X it sounds pretty mean.. I like the sound the G/F does not. Does not sound like a mustang to her..

postban: yeah, moan brace is what Ford calls the brake caliper bracket (at least in the m-2300-k brake kit anyway).

Well, I just called them Brake Brackets  Not surprised FORD called it something weird.

13. RH Brake Bracket F4ZZ-2C100-B (MCT source $63.92)**
14. LH Brake Bracket F4ZZ-2C101-B (MCT source $62.84)**
