My Cobra is primarily a street car but I also enjoy driving it at open tracks up to 10 times a year. Based on some searching I've narrowed my search for a new clutch down to the dual friction or LM (light metal) clutches.

I don't want to give up much in the way of daily driving but also want a clutch that will handle open track (I've got a 2.8" pulley so 460HP/480TRQ).

Which should I get?

Also, steel or aluminum flywheel?

I have a DF w/ Aluminum Flywheel for about 1 year and drive my car daily and been down the track around 6 times with new clutch and had no problems :D With what you are looking for I think the DF would make you happy..

the first option is what i have... now keep in mind you might sacrifse 10 hp due to the steel fly wheels weight but its worth in every penny...

I just dynoed 464 RWHP and 475 RWT SAE corrected with a steel flywheel. I definite agree, it was worth it :)

Also, I have the CFDF and no problems so far.
